Mandala Slowmo

This project proposes a new visual language, created through audioreactive code in Processing, to read live music and transform it into shapes, colors and movements giving the viewer a multi-sensorial and synasthetic experience. Designed for a natural interaction with sound, creating patterns that approximate an organic aesthetic that generate its basis in maths and physical simulation, drawing symmetric concentrical patterns that resembles the structure of a mandala. These geometric structures mixed with cinematographic images, create a distortive effect governed by sound waves, and gives an extra layer to the narrative on the live music experience.
